Forgiveness

This picture is Magdalene Chan's "Forgiveness"
My last post was a little heavy so I am following it with this picture and
these sayings:
Unforgiveness is like drinking poison and hoping it will kill your enemies.
Nelson Mandela
Forgiveness is the answer to the child's dream of a miracle by which what is broken is made whole again, what is soiled is again made clean.
Dag Hammarskjold
I embrace these sayings today.

Indeed, to forgive is miraculous. I find it startling that you speak the word "forgiveness" in the face of all you have experienced.

My God bless you.

Beth, i have no other place to go. I have to root out the anger in my heart and all the paths have led to forgiveness. it is a day by day thing and I think its going to be that way the rest of my life. I have what I call "pity parties", where I cry and feel sorry for myself, for all I've lost, for everything that has been wrongly done to me. Then I pull myself up by the boot straps, dry my eyes and look at all the postives. And ALWAYS i read, or see a movie where life has dumped on someone and they pulled thru with flying colors, its a reminder that I'm not the only one and someone else made it thru the disasters of thier life and I can too :)
Bless you too, Beth. I love your artwork and I love the way you think :)
