Mary, thanks kiddo. sorry its taken so long to answer back.

Lydia, sorry I didn't check back sooner on my blog. the fire did not come close to us, we are on the other side of town. all we got was terrible smoke and ashes. it broke our hearts seeing the damage the fire did. the fire destroyed a historic ranch, I didn't know the owners but my dad did. then we had terrible rains which has done damaged all over (we had to have someone come out and look at our roof & yes we have to replace it), then the shooting in aurora, colo. a friend of our gov was killed. its been one thing after another but we will survive. thanks for asking :)
