I have a favorite movie that I watch, Walt Disney's "Meet The Robinsons". The phrase "keep moving forward" is thru out the movie.
And so true of life, no matter what we encounter we just need to keep moving forward. That's how the battles of life are won.
take care everyone :)

DVD Sales Are Down
DVD sells are down, duh. Who in their right mind is going to buy any of the stupid movies they are making now.
We have a huge DVD collection, the new ones we bought: 'The King's Speech' (most excellent), 'Harry Potter' (the latest one), 'Chronicles of Narnia' (the latest one), 'Toy Story' (the latest one), 'Fair Game' (excellent).
What we didn't buy but saw: "Gulliver's Travels' (boo), 'The Green Hornet' (don't even bother seeing this one especially if you were a green hornet fan), Megamind (phooey), 'How Do You Know' (this was so bad I can't remember what its about), 'Little Fockers' (loved the first 2 but not this one).
If they want dvd sales to go up then they need to make good movies. I am sick of seeing people throw up in movies! That is not funny and guess what movie makers the 13 year olds that you are targeting are now older and they don't like. The new 13 year olds don't want it either so get a clue and stop putting in the throw up scenes. Its stupid!
To make a good movie you have to have a good story. Not a bad remake of a good story. Hollywood is going down faster then the Titanic, who would have thought this would happen.
Take care and have a nice week end

Fair Game
We watched the movie 'Fair Game' last night. This is a must see, people!!!! You will see the inner workings of the CIA and why this organization should be shut down. You will also see why ALL Republicans should not be voted into ANY positions. You will see how Bush & Cheney abused the power given to them, dancing to the tune of their puppet masters. The only thing we do not see is Bush & Cheney's masters. These are the people we need to find and take away their power. And I don't mean the corp.'s , I mean real names, real people. And if you don't think that this kind of thing can't touch you, YOU ARE WRONG. IT CAN AND IT WILL. They haven't touched your S.S. yet but the next thing they will come up with is eliminating anyone over 62. Logans Run maybe in our future, think about it! When you watch this movie pay attention to the tactics they use against Valerie & her husband. The first one is to make everyone believe they are liars. This is always the first step, the rest of the steps depend on the person. Disinformation is always there and basically that is just lying about the other person. It comes in ALL forms from being gay, pedophile, mentally retarded, a loner to name just a few. Heck, they may even use all of them and its to get YOU to disbelieve every word that comes out of that person's mouth. Because if you disbelieve then the puppet masters don't have anything to fear. They have used fear against us all of our lives, its time to turn the tables and put fear into their hearts. Be smart, use that God given brain of yours and send the disinformation highway back where it belongs! And now, I will step down from my soap box and bid you all a wonderful week end!

Penrose's, Chew's & Baber's
We watched the new Robin Hood & Prince of Persia movies. They both are great, I think this Robin Hood is the closest to the real truth than any other. Both movies had 2 things in common: destiny & karma. I'd like to share with you my own family's destiny & karma.
The Penrose's, Chew's & Baber's are old English families. All 3 were knights of the Crusades, all 3 were knights of the templar, all 3 lived in the Somerset/Bristol area. Penrose & Baber were physcians of King Richard & King John. The 3 families had a bond that would expand for centuries, without some of them even knowing it.
In the 1600's Penrose & Chew would leave England. Penrose to Philadelphia, Chew to Maryland. Chew would sell his manor called "Chew Manor" to Baber. The manor has kept its name to this day. The Baber family would fall into displeasure with the power that ruled England, one family was allowed to stay & keep Chew Manor while the others were sent to Virginia, New Zealand & Austrilia.
The Penrose & Chew families would unite in marriage, my grandfather & grandmother. The Baber family would go from Virginia to South Carolina then to Colorado.
In the 1950's my father being a Chew/Penrose would become friends with Frank Baber & his sister Zona. After my fathers death, it was Frank Baber that would take me as his foster daughter & raise me.
The Penrose, Chew & Baber family circle completed. I believe in destiny, tho I do not know its reason.

Movie NIght
We had movie night, the first one was "The Time Travelers Wife". It was okay but I would have written it another way. One big thing to write different would be for him to keep his clothes on when he time traveled. I rate it a D.
"Amelia Earhart" was the other one, I give it a C. Its the typical story we heard in school, except she has an affair. It was okay but I was expecting more. It was a Hollywood story, leaving out truths that should have been there.
Hollywood has always had a chance to get the truth of history out but they haven't done it. Like the Titanic, it was a good movie but didn't tell the truth and they made it a well done romance movie. Oh well, its entertainment, just barely.

The Changeling, 2008 Movie

If any of you saw Clint Eastwood's movie, then you know it was done very well. But, Clint didn't have all the information about it. Did you ever wonder what happened to the little boy? Well, I'll tell you.
Above is a picture from my family album, the man with the hat is my father. The man in the middle is Jack Dempsey's little brother and his little girl, the man in the white pants is C.L. Tutt Jr. (and if you notice C.L. is a short man, he married a tall woman and 2 of his kids came out tall).
C.L. was a ladies man and he had lots of affairs, one of those affairs involved Christine (the woman in the movie). C.L. was the father of the little boy. In the movie the little boy asks about his dad, the reason he did this, C.L. was visiting him without Christine knowing about it.
Now, Christine is a telephone operator, she is told by either our government or the mob, to eavesdrop on a phone call. She doesn't do it, this is why her kid disappears. It was pay back for not doing what she was told to do.
Her little boy had his name changed to Karl, and when he got older he became my father's chauffeur. His girlfriend was my nanny. They talked a lot about his younger years and she would beg him to call his mother, he refused. He was hurt and didn't understand why his mother (Christine) said that someone else was her little boy. There was also the circumcision, which they did to him after Christine let it be known that he hadn't been.
My nanny explained a lot to Karl that he didn't know about. He was ranting about how his mom was crazy. Nanny explained to him about that and the movie did a great job on it. But what they didn't know was my dad paid for the lawyer to get Christine out. My dad felt sorry for her because she would never had been in that situation if she never would have started seeing C.L.
So, Karl had a good life. He married my nanny, they had kids. He was a Tutt the whole way and enjoyed them being his familyand the money that they had stolen. And he was a traitor to my father and me, maybe that's why he drank himself to death.
So, there you have it. that's what happened to that little boy. I wonder what his life would have been like if Christine had done what she had been told to do.

Kung Fu Panda
I have always been a lover of children's movies. Maybe because in my heart, I'm forever a little girl. These movies always have good points in them. Kung Fu Panda is one of those and I'd like to share a few of those points:
1. There are no accidents in life
2. Yesterday is history, tomorrow a mystery but today is a gift, that is why it is called present
3. Believe in yourself
If you want to read a really neat post, go over to Darlene's Hodgepodge and read her post "The Land That Made Me, Me" It's a good one!

The Movie "W"
We finally got to see the movie "W" sunday nite. We bought it at Target, most of the stores here are not selling it and of course it was never shown in any theatres here (also the movie "Religulous" is not going to be shown or sold here, I bought that thru amazon.com and it should arrive next week).
So, the long wait to see "W" is over. Oliver Stone did a very good job, he went down the middle of the road and left the choice up to the viewer. You could feel sorry for George or you could say to yourself, "Yep, I knew all along he was an idiot." No matter which way you went, the movie was good.
Josh Brolin did a supreme job as Bush and all the others did good also, the only one that was hard to accept was Rice.
And of course, we see once again, that the patients are running the asylum. The war has always been about greed and power, just as nam was. I can't help feeling a tad of pity for W, then I remind myself "the decisions make the man" and then I move on.
I was interested in seeing what the portrayal of Cheney was going to be. It showed what has already been shown, it left me a little sad for I knew Dick Cheney when I was a little girl. And I know there are people who hate him but I have to speak the truth.
No where does the movie or any newspaper show the young man Cheney who wanted to go into politics to do good and how he got involved with the wrong people, those people wanted to use him for thier own greed and they have.
The Cheneys are from Wyoming, (I'll be doing another blog on the Wyoming cattle wars later on)
actually Dick was born in Neb. but Wyoming was home. His wife went to Colorado College here in Colo. Springs so when Dick decided to pursue politics, his wife went to my family's foundation for support. What she didn't know was a plan was put into effect to set up her, her daughter and my mother. It worked and I will not go into the details. She got the money from Thayer Tutt Sr, Tutt's plan had worked, he was in favor and my family was in disfavor.
I was taken to the Cheney's ranch shortly after my father's death. The people who took me there were informed by Dick that he could not vouch for my safety. He made two other statements (1) the people that brought me would find out it was not the in thing to be loyal to the Penroses and (2) He didn't have to take orders from the Tutts. The first one hurt me to the quick (I would find out that it was true). I was returned to the state of Colorado fast. And that was the last time I saw the Cheney family.
I feel that Cheney did a good job when he was Secretary of Defense during Bush senior's term. He seemed to being doing the good he always wanted to do. Who knows what happened during "W's" term.
So, was this movie done to save the Bush's name and perpare us for Jeb running for President? If so, they won't get my vote!
